If you only have a dsi, it's a deal. If not, then it's a ripoff. Remember it only does GBA emulation plus your DS games of course. Emulation will never be perfect, but may eventually be pretty close. The key word is emulation.

whats wrong with phats and lites? Also it will also emulate more consoles soon(SNES for one) and have DivX/Xvid support too

The price should be at least 30$...
40$, is just too much......
I disagree. The iPlayer is $40. This does more than the iPlayer, more than the Cyclo, more than any other flashcard out there. SoulSilver and HeartGold are both the same price. THAT's overpriced.

Definite deal. Though, it seems they overhyped it and now they aren't delivering what they promised when they promised it. No details on the SNES emulator, and a GBA emulator that someone else made. Kind of a disappointment. The thing that makes the flashcard worth it is the reliability of the team. They WILL update date it sooner or later (about two months max before it has near-perfect amount of features added). Hell, they still update their Slot-2's, what's NOT to love about this team? They're very reliable, and very affordable. They're one of the best out there.

The EZFlash should learn from Supercard's skills in being able to hype something up. Their flashcards are TOP NOTCH but they aren't famous.

I honestly think any cart is a GREAT price, I would happily pay $100 for a cart (acekard, dstt,....whatever) just do the math, look how much real games cost.

Personally I think DStwo is going to be worth it for what it shows, although it's clear the product has been rushed, since they did most of the work on finishing the hardware part, and left the software way behind.

So now what you have is whatever the SCDS1i already got (the kernel), and a GBA emulator that's 6 months old, since the video shows no improvements over the iplayer version. I'm still not entirely sure if they'd stolen the emulator or hired the guy. SNES emulation, and hardware accelerated video is still nowhere to be seen. The video doesn't even show a video, so I can just assume ms2 works properly. I've been wondering what's going to happen with Cyclo DS now, since DStwo is clearly superior at a similar price. Personally though, I'm staying on Acekard 2i for now. Previous experiences with Acekards 2 and M3i Zeros have shown that the first batches can have problems.

You can find almost any card at that price (and cheaper), but the problem is that those cards might not be good. The Acekard is good though.

One of the problems that I foresee with DStwo is that it may be hard to find, particularly for people outside Asia. It is already a fact that few people in europe know SDCS1i and Ez-Flash devices (well the latter more for their slot 2 thing), whilst Acekards 2 are almost as common as R4 clone carts nowadays. Also considering DStwo will be pretty expensive, I see fewer online shops actually stocking up on this. The SC team may have done a good hype about this, but it's their market strategy that will decide the ultimate fate of their cart. If people cannot buy this anywhere, then it will not be a big success in my opinion.

It's not the way they advertise their products, but the price. The DSonei is twice the price of a Acekard. And probably 10 times the price of some R4 clone. That's why lots of people don't buy SuperCard's products, they think they're too expensive, because most people think 'Oh, why do I need a more expensive card if I can get myself a cheap one that plays the same games?'. Obviously, they don't know anything about flashcarts at that moment.

when I bought my flashcart I did some research and found out that a m3 real was a fine card at that time and I got it, the only downside was the shop keeper got almost twice as much money from me than those things cost on the internet.

and I do hope that the supercard team will bring the cart out only when it is working like it says on the box and the adverts, only then I will be getting one.

gba on dsi = win
That's one of the main reasons I'm going to get it too, I don't think it's bad that they removed the GBA slot, but being able to play GBA games on a DSi anyways is great!

Plus, I swear that emulator will get updates... I can sense it

.

yeah i think they used the iplayer one to release it earlier since the hardware issues or whatever

plus i think the loss of slot 2 on dsi was necessary but i think they should have put it in the dsi xl but thats just my 2 cents

And, depending on if the SDK gets released, we could see more things come to light. A PSX emulator would be nice (I still have FpseCE on my 400Mhz Arm-CPU PocketPC, and the DSTwo's CPU is said to be more powerful than the 300Mhz iPlayer one).
