Hi, my ds lite actually breaks it whenever it is used with my supercard dstwo... Whenever i use it with a dsi or 3ds the console just shuts down when i put it in. I replaced the board in my old ds b/c i thought it just coincidentally just broke. but whenever i tried to use my dstwo with my newly replaced board, the console booted up, didn't recognize the game, and when i shut it off it never turned on again and only has the charge light flash for a second or two when i put it in. Before i put in the dstwo, i tested animal crossing and that game worked fine and booted up after i played it.
Any ideas to why my dstwo does this? Does anyone have an idea with what exactly it could've fried on both of my ds's?
thanks

It definitely sounds like something on the cart is going wrong, however, I'm not sure if it's possible to isolate the problem without possibly doing more damage.

You might want to try reloading the DSTwo firmware. If you go to SuperCard's website they should have a download of the most recent version on their site, as well as directions on how to change it out.
On the other hand, you could just have a bad cart and something is physically causing things to short the system. In that case I'd advise you to take it apart and see if you can identify anything that looks suspicious, although this might be difficult to do if you aren't sure what to look for.

If you're willing to risk it, you could try reloading the firmware and testing it on a console you're ok with losing.
There could be a handful of other things wrong though, such as a damaged ribbon cable in your DS lite combining with whatever problem is on the cart. It's hard to say.

Your best bet is to just get a new DSTwo or return/exchange the one you have, if it's at all possible. Good luck!
