Hacking DSTTi Boot Loader not updatable

I just bought a DSTTi and I heard that the "boot loader" is not updatable, does this mean that it's going to be useless after awhile? or have they changed it so that is updatable, and can't I just never update my DSi? then I can always use it

Its not updatable as far as I know. So yes it would become useless as you update your firmware. You don't need to update your DSi unless a game you buy would require it or you go to the dsi shop.

No you can't but you could on the M3 Zero and the Supercard One

teh EZ Flash Vi is also updatable. they just released one (or two or 3 recently). BUt it has a buggy software.

I heard they do have boot loaders, except they will probably not attempt to circumvate updates. I dunno why, they lose money, people will stop buying their cartridge, and people would of wasted $80 (Australian). Though, I don't know how easy it is to make one, but someone might find a way... (HINT)

If you can reflash a clone dstt cart with the flasher programe why not flash it with a new firmware??? like using the DsttDumper.nds

I'm pretty sure most DSi flashcarts can update the bootloader. I know AK2i, M3 Zero, Supercard Onei and the Ez Flash Vi all can. The only ones that cant afaik are DSTTi and R4i, which is a fake anyway.

Really? I could have sworn the AK2i and Ez Flash couldn't.

Yeah, the AK2i can. It needed to update the bootloader to fix that language problem.

Acekard 2i CAN update the bootloader, but team Aceakard probably won't make one, unless someone else can... I'm not so sure about EzFlashVI...

I'm pretty sure most can, but it'll have to be done on the card itself, not by an outside tool. Which means if you cant boot the card, you cant update the bootloader. However there is one card (cant remember which) that has a cable for updating the bootloader so if you update and it stops working, you can just use your computer to update the bootloader.

I`ve just dumped the dstti internal rom and it`s 4MB! here the link i`m going to try and flash it to a normal dstt card.....
Looking at the header file of the .bin dump in the dstti file its got fishtycoon i think the dsi thinks the card is a real game so loads it??but the old cards can only hold 128kb so the 4 mb dumb will not fit on the old cards

thats why they are a bit more $$ so thats the trick to load these card fooling the dsi.

in the future you can reflash the card with a new .bin file...but you will need a old ds or dsl or a dsi with an old firmware.
