    1.Fixed: The bug of #3819.
2.Changed: The game list style to make it faster

I just tried it, and it's fast even with big icons on. Sweet!

Cool, will have to wait till tonight to try it, but if they have speeded up the menu, then that will keep most of the Supercard haters out there quiet.

Wow... it really is a ton faster.

Whenever I start it up now the little window says it's saving saver for half a second. I remember the old slot 2 supercards would keep your last save stored on the card's memory until you went back to the menu then it would move it to the minisd/microsd. Is that what's going on again, or was it always happening behind the scenes?

Neat little trick. [IMG] Now that you can no longer browse and see advanced info on files, it is feasable to swap the screens and use everything on the lower one. That would also allow for easier top menu access. Pity the MS 1.x touchscreen detection code always sucked.

YES- its Way fasters like 1000% faster

Now they need to fix the scrolling with the touch screen when u switch from top screen to bottom screen

also is there a way- to make it display the game name instead of the file name. esp. for a specific folder ^^

    For example:

    /MCFC/Games
jiasd0a-asdaj.nds -> Game Name: Custom Robo Arena

You'll need to update your ndsinfo.dat in the scshell folder. Look for an updated one on the Supercard forum.

A newer ndsinfo won't do that. That only displays the names in the info window for which you press X everytime. I know where you're getting to. You wanna use 8 character filenames to escape the 8.3 savegame naming glitch. But even if there was such a method implemented, it would likely need to read each ROM and compare it to the ndsinfo, which again adds lag.

It's a bit faster... But dang it, they got rid of the thing that shows the ROM name, and the icon, and stuff on the bottom screen?

I liked that feature! I want it back! Any ideas (besides downgrading again, LOL)
I know you can press X for each game, but that's just a PITA. I want it to always display that.

Also... you know how most newer games don't have a "number", and they don't have prebuilt cheats? Does anyone know when/if Supercard will update that database? I mean, games like Pokémon Ranger 2: Shadows of Almia still shows as unrecognized, and that's been out for quite some time now.

Hmm... so I download one of those .dat files and overwrite the one already on my Supercard?

What about cheats... I still have to do them by hand?

I wonder if someone messes with individual files, if it's possible to keep the info feature but have faster scrolling.

...Or you can just download dat2cht2scc and have new cheats as soon as they are updated. Just download the USRCHEAT.DAT and use the tools in that zip to convert it to usable .scc files. Simple. [IMG]
