So i'm already using my ds-x in slot-1 for games. Whats the best slot-2 for mp3 storage that wont stick out ?

I've narrowed it

-M3 Perfect Lite microSD

-SuperCard Lite microSD

-and EZ-Flash IV Lite

hmm...

I do not think that it is a matter of flash carts. It is more the method in which you play your mp3. I have been using DSOrganize but it glitches after a song or two. Your best bet would probably to install moonshell in whichever slot 2 flashcart that you purchase.

Slot-2 cards tend to eat batteries, therefore they're not ideal for MP3 or movie playback... You can get an R4 and a 2GB MicroSD card for cheaper than an M3 (the least battery-eating choice) or with a 1GB card for the SuperCard

get another micro sd is my advice, i mean u can easily slide it in a empty slot in ur wallet

I'm using my Ez4 for media things like that. Someone brought up the issue of batteries, is there a GBA app that plays mp3s? Perhaps that would elongate the battery life.

Just upgrade to an R4/Cyclo with a 2GB/4GB card. I'd go with the Cyclo for more songs, though it will be expensive. Think in the $110-120 dollar range for a 4GB/Cyclo DS.

The GBA isn't powerful enough to decode mp3 files in real time. The best solutions are GBA GSM Player by Tepples and Music Player Advance. I personally prefer GSM Player myself.
