So I made it through the system transfer and booted up the target New 3DS. I go into the dsiware in system settings to copy it to the system memory and it won't let me. It says "Data could not be copied" Did I make a mistake?

Not enough information.

What else do you need? I used the Faceez game and did the full pc transfer option. After the transfer completed I put the micro sd from the source into the target system.

It should have prompted you to move the dsiware titles from sd to system memory as a finishing step of the system transfer process on the target 3ds. Not sure if you can still do it outside of the system transfer process.

I never got that prompt. Not sure if I made a mistake or anything. I already had my dsiware moved to the sd prior to the transfer if that matters. Was just following the guide.

If they made a nand backup they can move the game to sd and then move back to system nand on the other 3ds

Just tried that. Same thing. "Data could not be copied"

Did I perhaps make an error during the transfer process? I didn't move the sd card from the source to the target till after it said the transfer was complete.

1) When you do the system transfer, on the first DS (Source), it says "DSiWare Titles will be moved to SD Card" and asks "Do not Move, Move". Did you tap "MOVE"?
2) What type of transfer did you do? PC, Low Capacity, or Wireless?
3) At the end of the transfer, the last DS (Target) says "DSiWare Titles will be moved to System Memory" and asks "Do not Move, Move". Did you tap "MOVE?"
4) Did you transfer using the right NAND? (If you use EmuNAND).
5) Did you transfer the legit copy? (Paid for from eShop)?

1. I had moved the dsiware to the sd prior to the transfer just like the guide said.
2. PC
3. I never got this prompt but I didn't switch the sd till after the transfer was completed. It shows up in dsiware under sd card in system settings though.
4. I used A9LH and Luma and only sysnand.
5. I bought the game off the eshop on the source system last night.

I don't think you have to move the dsi to the sd. Thats done during the system transfer. I thought it said to move the game to the sd only to find the game id.

Hm. Guess I'll have to try it again in a few days. Am I supposed to move the sd card during the process at all? Or just after it is complete?

I use cart entry points so I'm not sure how steelhax works but what i do is transfer with the dsi on the nand. Finish system transfer, pop out both sd and put the source in the target then allow for the reboot. When it comes online it will finish the dsi transfer to target system nand then i just put both sd cards back in their original 3ds

Ah ok. Was I supposed to do anything with homebrew? I have ninjhax but I don't recall needing homebrew up to the point of the transfer.

If you have cubic ninja you don't need to setup a nnid or anything other then the dsi game. Once your cool off is over downloadanother dsi capable game, inject the app and savs and system transfer with the dsi on the nand
