Did you buy Steel Diver on the source system?

I'm experiencing this same issue ...

Followed the Plailect guide to a T, I bought the legit Fieldrunners and downloaded Steel Diver from the eShop on the source, did System Transfer, used Fieldrunners to do the 10.4 NATIVE_FIRM downgrade, and I am at the point where you use Steel Diver as an entrypoint to Homebrew. If I insert the SD from the Source, it shows on the home screen, however if I use the Target's SD card, it does not.

I don't have any alternative method like OOT, Pokemon, etc.

Any help is much appreciated!

You SHOULD be using the source SD card on your target 3DS as the system transfer specifically told you to do so at the end.

Thank you for the reply, Justin.

It didn't specifically say that in the DSiWare Downgrade guide, which is where the confusion was for me. After the transfer was complete, it did tell me to use the Source's SD card, I just thought it would mention it in the guide. So technically 3DS #1's SD becomes 3DS #2's at this point is what I'm understanding.

It doesn't say in the guide but it says while you do the system transfer (on both console's screens).
It tells you (at some point that you need to move your Source card to the Target console)
That is why the guide links you to the Ninty official system transfer page.

The proccess must be done with eyes with open, ;)

It also tells you that on the official Nintendo website regarding system transfers, which a link is included IN the guide.

I figured I'd post it here though maybe a new thread is needed. I didn't make a nand backup of 3ds #1. I panicked and used an old nand backup perhaps stupidly but it worked. I realized half my games were missing and went to fbi to install some cia games. It said they were already installed so I hit b, got an error, and went back to home menu. My games were back but had to be unwrapped. As far as I can tell my saved games are in tact.
