Gaming DSi XL touch screen cover

My understanding is that the lower screen is actually 3 layers:

1) LCD (bottom)
2) Touch screen module (middle)
3) Screen cover (top)


My LCD and touch screen looks to be ok. The screen cover though, has a few scratches due to the previous owner using the stylus a lot. Has anyone replaced the screen cover before? I'm guessing this is glued to the housing of the unit itself. I've looked in ebay and dealextreme to see if this is actually replaceable, and I could not find it.

Has anyone tried replacing this screen cover? Where did you buy the cover?

There is no screen cover, just lcd and touchscreen module glued on top of lcd.
So you can either replace touchscreen (should be about $5 on ebay) or apply screen protector on it - it should hide small scratches.

You should apply the dsi screen protector from the beginning
