I just now went to get the new Shantae, and right after I put my card info in to get the points I need I got the message that said the shop was under maintenance. I tried going back in, but I got the same message. So the shop is down. This may mean a firmware update, so keep your eyes out for it.

NO, It means that maybe one of their servers has been damaged they are repairing it and take their time by closing down the shop.(I dunno but maybe your right!)

Edit: EU server is down too.

Well, I guess it was a false alarm. Must have just been maintenance. That's good, because I can play Shantae now.
