Hacking DSi Sleep Mode Problems

A while back I made a thread discussing how Treasure World on my AK2i kept turning off my DSi whenever I put in Sleep Mode. Today I was playing my genuine Pokemon Platinum and it turned off twice in Sleep Mode in a matter of half an hour. As soon as I got home I called Nintendo about it and they asked me to send it in.

For the past few hours I've been intentionally trying to force the problem out but it won't happen. I'm slightly worried that they won't be able to find the problem and will charge me for wasting their time.

Is there anyone out there with the same DSi problem as me? What should I do? >.

just send it in and explain the problem good. my brother had a dsi that started up fine but had many times that it wouldn't respond to anything. they gave him a brandnew dsi.

they charge you simply to replaces the motherboard. which in the case of a dsi they'd probably just ship you a new dsi.
