yesterday, i compared my dsi & dsl randomly and i noticed the dsi's screens are really on the warm side, whereas the dslite had more of a cool tempature(blue).

are all dsi screens set to a warm color tempature? do you like yours warm or cool?

Yep, the colors seem a little bit warmer compared to the DS Lite. I like it that way

Color temperature is simply the tone or tint of the colors on the screen. It doesn't mean that the screen is actually hotter.

Heat is produced by the components working and releasing off excess heat.
Notebooks are hotter as they use alot of power and generate more heat.
If you use a DS long enough, it also generates heat.

Anyway, I don't have a DSi, so I can't compare color temperatures.

I saw one of those at Gamestop they're HUGE!!!!!! I never thought how big the DSi XL would be O___o

But it was daylight so I couldn't really tell which one was warmer...
