Hacking DSBrick and 3DS

So I kicked a football at my 3DS and it made my eShop account have everything on it.

Well I tried it on a bunch of other systems and it only worked 1/10 of the times
American football, and all the brands work
But just so you know when it doesn't work they break so that was expensive

Also, "shorting something" doesn't equal destroying the console. The DSi is likely not turning on because due to the broken camera the circuit is now open or you've burnt a fuse - I doubt that you killed it. In fact, sometimes (flashing circuits) shorting is actually beneficial from a user stand-point.

Try seeing what happens when you've bricked ds mode and you go to one of the appliances like ds wifi settings or ds download play.

I actually detailed that in the first video

Ha, I didn't expect that it would have bricked the DS mode, especially if it is done through partial emulation.. But that was pretty neat.

It would be nice if this would actually lead towards something for 3DS hacking, but I wouldn't hold my breath

It is a security check in the 3DS so there is no way this could lead to a hack.
