im having a hard time deciding which to get, i have enough for both but i've been looking at a lot of reviews and still cant decide which is better to get. if you can, please give me some advice, thanks in advance (sorry if i posted in wrong thread)
R4DS/M3 Simply are essentially 100% compatible and have expandable memory. Their interface is the simpilest available making it fast and easy to get playing.
Don't Wait! Buy a R4DS NOW!!!!!!! It is amazing and the price is too... It's very straight to the point and effective at what it does. Compatibilty and the abilty to upgrade memory at will makes this an amazing item to have. Everyone should get one.
I have a DS-X, Super Card DS, RDS, Supercard MINI DS and Super Key, by far the DS-X and RDS are the best. I tried my Sandisk in the Supercard DS did not work, tried it in the RDS worked great. So my question is should I sell my Supercard DS or hang on to it?
R4DS: $45 - expandable memory (I have 28 games on 1 gig microSD) IT RUNS ALL ROMS and some decent homebrews.
DS-X: $125 - stuck with 512 MB (4Gb - prolly actually confused some people to think that meant 4GB, ha) It runs everything pretty much
WINNAR: R4DS!!!!1!!!!111!!1one! - hands down, contest complete, close thread.
Go with what everyone is getting at the moment which is the R4. I've never regretted buying mine. As soon as the 2gb microsd cards come down in price the DS-X will be dead.
An R4/M3 with 1gb memory card is cheaper than a DSX anyways. But the DS-X has better homebrew support and it's probably slightly more user friendly. Thought i dont think I could live with 512mb
