ROM Hack ds xl

hi all

i bought my boy a new ds for his birthday

and would like to get the card to download games onto

so could someone direct me to instructions on how to set all this up

and is it easy as im no wizz kid just a cleaned out dad

You don't need to be an expert. Wrong section but I'll answer it here.

The best flashcart as of now is the Acekard 2i. Once you get the card, install AKAIO. I'll help you set it up when you get the flashcart unless you want me to type out the instructions now.

I would suggest buying an acekard 2i from one of the sites at the home page of gbatemp (to the left a little down) after you have you have bought it download AKAIO 1.6RC2 (google it) and copy all those files to your micro sd. After that you need to run the 1.4 bypass update. http://www.mediafire.com/?1xquh1ymjjx download that put it anywhere on your micro sd and find a spare ds/dsl lying around and use that to run the update and you should be good to go.
