dam! i want some glow in the dark Krylon spray paint so bad! any other types of paint that i could use to paint a DS?

You could but some bi colour LED's on there. As for rigging up sound sensitive LED's for the input I would use the mic. Do you know how to solder well myclock?

haha. i dont have too much experience but i should be fine with that sorta stuff. im good with the fiddly hand on stuff. like building PCs etc. so hopefully i will do well. or just get my mates to come around and help me

haha ive seen that mod happen on the phat DS but never on a lite before. was planning to just paint the top actually.

what i plan to do is just get some spray paint and hope for the best. any other brands in particular i should be looking out for?

oh with the gbaccelerator do you guys know if the whole kit is all that i will be needing.. no extra wires?

Here is the best guide to taking apart the DS, way better then the ones posted on this site. Details everything to do a SHOCK case mod. Not too hard if you take your time and looks sweet.

I was thinking too about modding my ds. Well, not exactly modding but messing with the casing.

Thought if I get the black one, i could spray on the Gears of War logo or something. Too bad when I got mine they only have the blue one. x(

It should come with everything. Standard wires aren't that expensive to get anyway. I was planning to get one, but I was reading about how it might fry your DS or something

haha yeah.. now im having second thoughts on this.. sure its kool and all but is it really worth that much just to show off to your friends..

so ill probably skip this and just do visual modding

if you could get stencils, and liked zelda, put dark brown/orange paint, and draw the twilli trifoce on it

i was planning on getting a picture and making that the stencil, but i read that glow in the dark spray paint only lasts a certain number of hours? am i correct?

but add battery acid with the nacho mix because if som1 steals it and smells it u kno theyll want to taste it

sweet i was able to get the DS for $45AUD. bottom screen is scratched so i can fix that for a really cheap price. also i will need to change the housing as it is chipped and the inside is coloured in... oh well i picked up a good deal i believe
