Hacking Ds memory expansion pack alternative to EZ flash?

iv heard rumors that if you use the ds memory expansion pack that came with the DS browser you would be able to use gba exploader (or whatever that gba emu thing was called) to play gba games and homebrew on a r4..etc without the EZ flash.

but is this actually a alternative?

Where have you been? Most cards have built in support for the 3in1 not to mention it's half the price of the ram pack. You can use the money you save and buy a real flsh card.

it was a rumor i heard somewhere hear.

the same guy also said sticking a normal gba game in a ds should be enough ram to emulate a gba ROM (in which i tried proving it rong)
