Hacking Ds lite won't turn on

So I was replacing my bottom screen on my ds and when i tried to turn it on it won't. i checked the three screen strips and they are all securely on. Is there something else i might be forgetting to check?

Use a ball-peen hammer.

Bit silly asking this - but did you make sure the on/off slider was located properly onto the switch ??

Does it charge up OK ??
Does the Charge light only come on for a sec or so - you might've been unlucky & caused one of the fuses to blow (which could've been caused by a short inside or something)

Did you possibly hear a noise when putting your DS casing back together...and possibly hear the shaking of a broken power switch?
