Hacking DS Lite WiFi

So my other topic died with only two posts and nobody helping me, so I'm gonna try again. I bricked my DS Lite recently and repaired it using the BIOS hotswap method. The problem now is that my WiFi won't work and I've confirmed that it is the BIOS chip holding the problem. I tested with my friend's BIOS chip in my DS and WiFi worked. So now that I know that my BIOS chip is the problem, how would I be able to fix it?

im not sure, but maybe run flashme again...and make sure it is v8a

i have never flashed my ds but i hope that helps

I don't think it's flashme, because I've installed and reinstalled it a few times, but it doesn't matter now, my friend's giving me one of his DS Lites, so it's all good.
