Hacking DS Lite vs. DSi - Buttons

Best controls and price are the DSPhat nice, flush buttons with a clicky feel rather than a mush. The D-Pad is much nicer as well in my opinion. The DSi's buttons are nicer enough but not worth the extra money methinks

I hate buttons that click when pushed. It's why I have to use a 3rd party Saturn controller because my Sega brand sounds like a train when I try to use it.

Yeah right dude, the DS Phat (crap) sucked. It was way too dark, was bulky, heavy and is just overall terrible. IMO, DSi > DS Lite >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DS cra..err Phat.


The dark screen's never been an issue for me especially since I got a black Case which makes the screens stand out more. And yes it was bulky and dark but that wasn't the question, the question was about the controls and I personally think that the DSL buttons stick up too far making rapid presses harder and the D-Pad is horrid in my opinion (I tried to play SM64 on my sister's DSL once, never again!)

The click on the DS isn't that loud its quite muffled and just gives a nice, tactile feedback that the button has actually been pushed. Fair enough if you don't like it though, never had a Saturn so have no idea what the controllers sound like.

The NDSL has way better controls as compared to that shitty NDSI.

I think that people who own a DSL, and want a DSi are jealous and tell people that it is shitty because if they can't have one, then it is shitty

I frown upon this because I love my DSi and it is not flimsy

I like the DSi's buttons more. It feels... sturdier than my lite.
