ds lite energy consumption

    Does anybody know how many watts the ds lite uses in its various brightness modes? I read that a wii uses 16 watts and the ps3 uses 150 watts when in use.

    I can not help you with the brightness modes or even a DS lite but I did do measurements of the power for an original DS in various conditions a couple of years back

    You could probably infer something from the capacities and how long it took to discharge (timed discharge tests are a bit more common)

    The max rating on the back of the system is 2.3 watts, but as FAST's post shows its even lower in practice. Take the (mAmps*5.2) / 1000 to get the watts in his post. For example, 150 mAmps is .78 watts.
