Hacking Ds Lite B/W?

I just received my r4 and now all i want is buy a ds lite (excpet to finish with the army

)
So i want to ask you which color should i pick black or white...
A friend of mine changed 5 black ds lite till he finds one with no dead/stuck pixels and told me to buy a white one which has less problems..Is that true?

Black or white?
The dead pixel problem is the same on both versions?

The white ones have the cracky hinges, yes. All cracked hinges reported thus far have occurred on white Lites.

Go for the black one.

I have heard that the black DS has had bad pixel problems (Maybe they've been fixed now). You also need to keep wiping the fingerprints off the black DS. The black DS does look sexy though. I had to return mine because of a dead pixel and exchanged it for a white one.

Go for a white, is much more pretty and the black always looks dirty and sweaty.

The white shoulder buttons get grubby quite quickly..

I returned my first black one, had one ugly bright green pixel. Second one was sweet.

I wonder why they don't have the clear enamel finish on the black ones also.

Pity they aren't neon/hot pink like the psp. (instead nintendo go for baby/vomit pink). :/

I had nothing but white gbas and the things stained pretty easy from my filthy hands... So this time around, I figured I'd go for a black one. now my filthy fingerprints get all over it.

maybe I should just start washing my hands...
I still say black.

White risks a cracked hinge, yellowish shoulder buttons and looks like crap if you don't keep it clean (actually that might just be my friend's one; lint, dust and all sorts stuck on the inside, I almost cried when I opened it

)
Pink one's actually a rather nice shade of pink (hot pink would've looked awful). Don't know how it handles prints, but as it's not in the vote I'm guessing you've ruled it out already.

In conclusion: black. After all, who'll notice fingerprints on the outside when you've obviously got it open all the time playing it

I would gladly deal with the outer fingerprints if I didn't have to see my shoulder buttons absorb colors from whatever they rub on.
