@Apache Thunder, what are the chances of a loader for DSTWO? Would it be as simple as just applying the CPU clock patches at boot and running the cart normally or would a custom loader compatible with it need to be developed? Sorry for bothering you - there are a few DS games I'd love to see if they benefit from increased clock speeds. I do have an original R4 somewhere around here though... might go find that for now.
Well, we do have forwarders for the DSTWO, and they have the option of applying the CPU boost.

Did you download today's update? If you did, open luma config by booting while holding select. In 6.1.1, you need to activate the patch on the config menu.

I did that, and yet it still comes up with "an error has occured." No idea why, other then the fact the patch has not once worked on my o3dsxl before, for some unknown reason i'm still trying to find out.

Ok, I was finally able to get the twlfirm patch working on my 3ds. Instead of using Luma3ds, i've used a Skeith nightly with the twlbg.cxi patch located at /skeith/lib/module/twl/twlbg.cxi. If anyone else is having the same black screen/error occurred problem as i've been having, i recommend seeing if Skeith works for you.

question about the TWL patching process, (no not a rom question)
has screen size changing been done yet? for ds cartridges that is

likely Not, its been stated around that it'd stretch the screen making it blurry/pixelated. a option would be nice but likely on a low priority list

I think he's talking about raising the resolution to the 3DS' screen, like some builds of DeSmuMe.

Once SD ROM loading reaches a POC stage, the question becomes: what to use for the actual launcher UI? A CTR-mode selector that simply writes a config file and kicks to a hidden title for actually launching could be made much fancier and perhaps nicer to use (if Nitrohax functionality is present) simply from being able to use the full resolution for your code list; however a NTR-mode launcher could be ingame-reset into, and perhaps even kicked to with the home button with further TWLBG patches, if that name implies what I think it does. Either way is certainly worth consideration.

What actually is this twl patch do? Saw the option in luma

The new patches enable TWL (DSi) hardware in NTR (NDS) mode, which means SD access and and more power.
Thanks to the SD access, we are able to access 3ds SD properly with flashcart and homebrews and maybe in the future ROM loading.
This patch is required to use NitroHax (cheat engine for ntr legit carts), NTR launcher (launch some old flashcarts) and wood3ds (SD access on flashcarts).
However, this may brake legit ds carts so if you have problems you can turn off the patches and play your ds games.

the 3ds arm 9 has a higher clock speed then a normal ds so would you be able to over clock ds games

Wow ppl good progress(or thats what it looks to me at least...)

I have a question- was anybody able to successfully go to twl/ntr mode with arm11 still working? Would like to see screen recorder/streemer for ds(i) games...
