I didn't dump it yet, but Decrypt9 states that the TWL partition is 143mb (on my 2DS). Not sure if doing the rest you stated would change the size.
It's just odd that the partition is larder on the o3DS than the n3DS.

That's the correct size and i believe is the same regardless of 3ds type (2ds, old 3ds, new 3ds)..

You see, the problem here is that we need people with actual knowledge.
The one's who actually want to figure this out and give a shit, are the one's who don't know how anything works. (Like myself.)
The only information we have is, "it's possible, but the people with knowledge are too lazy to work on this, and simply tell you to buy a flashcart because it's cheap".

The thing is with booting an R4 firmware from the 3DS would be we'd have to get it to read ROMs from the 3DS's SD.
