You don't have the gba bios installed on your sd card

Put the GBA BIOS on the SD root, and name it "bios.bin".

You'll have to wait for a fix in nds-bootstrap.

Yes. You can get full speed from either device.

If you mean before the ROM menu appears, then that's normal, as it reboots into TWL mode, then initializes the FAT filesystem, which take like 25 seconds, when put together.

Hold START before that shows, and turn off Slot-1 microSD access.

Gee 25 seconds is no time at all. Everyone these days wants everything instantly think yourself lucky you never had a zx spectrum and had to wait 5 mins for a game to load lol

Are you sure it's in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu" and not "sd:/_nds/DSiMenuPlusPlus"?
If so, idk why some users have this issue.
