Gaming DS Games Based on Animes

Hi everyone,

UPDATE: I guess I'll add games that are "focused on anime/anime characters" but are not necessarily anime-based such as Jump! Super Stars and Jump! Ultimate Stars.
And I suppose I'll just keep the 'anime' games that are really "game-based anime".

I personally like to play DS games of anime that I like, but unfortunately, as most haven't been localized, there's not too much talk about them except for certain games.

It would be great if we could keep building this list. =)

Why is it the games based off movies are horrible, but alot of these games aren't half bad.

Hey, what about World Destruction, which is coming Sep 25 for DS? There's an anime with this name, and with the same storyline as the game.
There's Ragnarok DS too, but I don't know if the offline mode (which consists in a RPG) and the anime have the same story (probably not, 'cause the name of the protagonists aren't the same).

I don't think these Transformer games in particular should be on the list, due to the fact that they are based on the movie, which is far from anime.

I guess in the end it depends on if you want the list to comprise of games that are based directly on a specific anime (or multiple ones in the case of Jump games), or just any game that has any links to anime at all

The anime of World Destruction was released about two months ago (in june or july, if I'm not wrong), 'cause SEGA made everything around that storyline (anime, game and manga). The anime is on episode 8 (I have just finished the 4) and is just great (a little different about what I was thinking of the story and characters, but still great)! Just another thing, World Destruction WILL BE released as game xD.

As for Ragnarok, I think the storylines of the game and anime are different but the anime was released 'bout years ago.

It's one game and i think thats a rough translation of Meitantei Conan: Kieta Hakase to Machigai Sagashi no Tou as that was the name i found on ign.

Also maybe you could add the sonic rush games as there was a sonic x anime
