ds diplays red sd card help! pls

    [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] when i insert dstt sd card appears then turns red with a little padlock got it from dx with micro sd supplied think it is fake so downloaded version 1.09 should it still work any help would be much welcome.............................

    Have you tried another microsd card in the dstt?

    Is there just a picture of a lock or does it display any kind of message?

    [​IMG] [​IMG] it has the picture of red sd card with menu wrote below it.............ps. when i put the cart in without sd it says no card.this is a blue sd card with 2 ?

    You've definitely copied the firmware files across into the root folder of the MicroSD card?

    The icon with "Menu?" underneath means that you haven't installed the firmware correctly.

    thanks guys for ur help now think it must be sd cards so going to order new sd cards will let u now if that works............

    It might also be your card reader. The ones that come with flash carts are notoriously crappy.
