Hacking DS dies quickly when left in sleep?

Does the r4 have some kind of draining in sleep mode? I played zelda for about 2 hours total play time on my fully charged battery, and put in sleep yesterday (still said green battery) today its red and its only been in sleep since yesterday, i never noticed this happening with other games in sleep really... is it r4 specific?

Yeah, for whatever reason the R4 does drain the battery faster in sleep mode.

Funny, i had mine in sleep mode for almost 24 hours, on a not so full battery(probably 3/4) with the R4 in, and it was still good, not green, but it wasn't dead. Maybe I was just lucky?

Your battery could just be dead.

My DS has its power drained in sleep mode as if it was in normal mode, with everything on. Huh.

Put a REAL game in the DS, put it in sleep mode. Notice the flashing pattern is different than an R4's sleep mode flash pattern.

That should be your first clue. There is definitely a difference.

With a real cart, sleep mode should last a couple days. It doesn't do that with an R4.

sleep mode, it lasts 48 hours approx.
