The NFO may say the release date is today, but this game has been out for a long time, we bought it for our daughter last Christmas.

The new VENOM/SUXXORS releases have intros again, so I made another set of intro skips.

Skipping Ni Hao, Kai Lan intro: open the ROM in a hex editor and change the byte at address DB1E3 from 1A to EA.

where's the chinese in this?

pikafail!! :| Ni Hao = ?? = How are you.
Really? I thought it meant 'Hello'... Well, I guess you know it better than me, after all, you studied it in school

Actually

?= you and ?= good, so it's more of a greeting of "hello"

But if you add a "?" and a "?", it becomes "how are you?"

But my chinese isn't too good either.

The Chinese(and Japanese sort of) still cling to their messed up lunar calendar, so their (traditional)new year can fall just about anywhere in the saner solar calendar... OTOH the chinese take off a week or so for their New Year while we get one lousy day... although the Japanese mostly use a modern calendar now, aas do the Chinese as everyone else in the world uses it as well... barring random religious events randomly based on lunar calendar in various religions... it's really messed up...
