...but we're in the middle of the year ....?
Ni Hao, Kai Lan: Celebration
I can see it coming...
The NFO may say the release date is today, but this game has been out for a long time, we bought it for our daughter last Christmas.
Bought it for my daughter last week cause we couldn't find a dump :-\
Oh well she actually plays it daily so I guess money well spent.
where's the chinese in this?
The new VENOM/SUXXORS releases have intros again, so I made another set of intro skips.
Skipping Ni Hao, Kai Lan intro: open the ROM in a hex editor and change the byte at address DB1E3 from 1A to EA.
pikafail!! :| Ni Hao = ?? = How are you.
Who the hell names their daughter after a leafy vegetable that is delicious when fried?
Really? I thought it meant 'Hello'... Well, I guess you know it better than me, after all, you studied it in school
You fail! Ni Hao is Hello fool!
?= you and ?= good, so it's more of a greeting of "hello"
But if you add a "?" and a "?", it becomes "how are you?"
But my chinese isn't too good either.
Dom nailed it.
The Chinese(and Japanese sort of) still cling to their messed up lunar calendar, so their (traditional)new year can fall just about anywhere in the saner solar calendar... OTOH the chinese take off a week or so for their New Year while we get one lousy day... although the Japanese mostly use a modern calendar now, aas do the Chinese as everyone else in the world uses it as well... barring random religious events randomly based on lunar calendar in various religions... it's really messed up...
