i tried the japanese version back then.. the things on the top screen seemed rather fun and quirky, some "power ups" are cool, but other than that it's just a normal "tap at least 3 adjacent same-color bricks to make them disappear"-game which there are already enough of for any platform.

From the box and title I was hoping for maybe something like a modern take on Combat on the Atari 2600

But it just seems to be a puzzle game to which the tank characters are largely incidental and could be replaced with anything. I'll give it a go on my way to work, anyway.

Reminds me of the Tanks game on Wii Play. It was probably based on that game.

At first glance that title sounds amusing though...

Possible AP - using a Supercard DSOne with Evo OS, I can play once. If I switch off/reset and go back to the menu, the icon on the main menu (where you select to play) is all garbage and scrambled, and it refuses to start.

Game works perfect on my original R4 with FW 1.18. So I don't think there is an AP.
