Yep, but they are very playable.

Yeah only in Japanese. But its pretty straight forward. Soul Carnival 2 isn't out yet though.

Finding the enemy AI too stupid even on the hardest difficulty. Even if this is the beginning of the game this is pretty bad. Combat isn't that fun for me and comboing is way too lenient. Eventually I find myself just dashing through each level and ignoring enemies just to get to the end. I'll give it another hour or two hoping it'll get better.

To end on a positive note, I'm loving Renji's new sprite.

I quite like this game, maybe it's because i haven't seen Bleach in ages and am missing it so badly. It's fun but i think the Ishida gameplay ruins it. Some of Hollow sprites look really bad and some pictures are recycled from Bleach VS Crusade.

Bleach fans should try it, it's pretty playable in english and Ichigo yells out the modes at the Main Menu so it's easy to understand

Lol what's up with speech battle system? I'm not sure if it adds anything to the game... Maybe it's put there to act as a potential penalty for non-Japanese speaking players

Yay, it's out! I love these beat-em-up-ish games, I've been waiting for this one! Also, just like BoB, it's much smaller than I expected. I do hope it doesn't have any kind of piracy check in it (Or at least that it's playable on the SCDS1).

It doesn't have any piracy check. It works fine on my R4.
