Feh, i just googled for some Puzznic screenshots and took the first link with some actual screenshots. Not like i was actively looking to distribute the NES ROM. Anyway, to actually contribute, if it keeps the core elements of Puzznic it'll be a decent puzzler. No Japanese required as there's not much depth to the actual puzzling (just connect 3 or more of the same symbol to clear the level).

Hmm...those screens seem to suggest gameplay similar to Exit DS, which I thought was great. I'll have to check it out.

man this game is good but in the same time it's kinda hard

this game is really fun tho so, if anyone likes hard puzzles with cute music games this game is a must

I believe its like Exit DS just kids theme. It's really a good title. Press Y to revert back one move. X to go menu and select middle one to restart level. No matter how hard it gets you can just hint your way (right trigger) thru all the way if you must. It's quite a good logic puzzle. I only got to the 2nd story with the penguin them..thank goodness has a new song. I find this one kind of hard to wrap my head around. I feel like i should be able to think it through without so much trial and error. Boy I feel dumb with this one.


One difference with Exit DS is exit seems easier as it doesn't present you with so many variables at once to do so it's easier in that sense. I prefer Exit DS gameplay wise but this is much behind.

How can you not love that Cake song on the first level set? And isn't that penguin outfit adorable?

And yes, it's Puzznic but with a controllable avatar instead of an icon, which makes it similar but in a way very different too.

For some reason though, purely because it has the girl to control, it makes me think of Umihara Kawase. There's no rational reason for that, it just does.
Now there's a game that needs a DS sequel.
