Or it's an old Enix game and they put mario in it for the DS Release :/

I just checked out the japanese website for this and one of the background tracks for this has the Mushroom Kingdom theme from Super Mario RPG...that's awesome. Any more Mario RPG songs in the game?

This is more wicked than monopoly. It's monopoly with stock marketing, you get to buy shares on land and you can make money even if the land isn't yours if you have good stocks! It's CRAAAAZY

I've been waiting for good release for a while..
finally a game i've been looking for.

this took me by surprise though.. since it's not supposed to be out til 21st

but wooooohooo will try it after download is done

Game doesn't require japanese. After awhile you figure out what stuff does. Like when you get into the bank after collecting all 4 card symbols (diamond/heart/club/spade) you level up. And you can also put money in the bank towards a certain area of the board. Whenever something happens in that area (like an upgrade or someone landing on it), you get money. Essentially you could have so much money in 1 area, landing on a space where you have to pay, would give you more money than you had.

Obviously you need japanese for the cards/casino, but it doesn't take away from the game's fun factor.

i've been playing this for a few hours..
pretty damn fun, although it sucks when u lose and 2 hours go down the drain.

too bad zelda is released at this time too, this game will probably go unnoticed

I've been playing this and doing okay...the only questions I still have are what are the four colored cards for, and how do you raise the worth of a street. The one I own this game, an entire street, has four buildings over 400 yet the street is only Level 12 (or something) while other ones are worth as high as 23...
