Luse! MARIO KART is the DS game of the month

FIGHT!

I tried it, it's a great game for sure but you have to like the sonic style.
Which I don't. Yup, thats right, I don't like the gameplay.

My mom wanted me to put some things on my Christmas list instead of buying everything so this is on my Christmas list. I'll have to wait awhile before I can play this game...

First off, none of you can change my opinion, Sonic Rush is the DS game of the month, you can like what ever lame ass game you like but what I said stands...

Secondly Mario Kart sucks ass.
ohmy.gif

It's a game designed for piss poor racing players who can't play racing games properly, the whole goal is to stay in second place with a turtle shell and steal a win from the guys who can race properly.

It's not my fault you suck...

So all I'm saying is "Sonic has Blast Processing, and Mario Kart DON'T..." (old genesis versus snes commercial)

Hehe, go Luse!!
wink.gif
Glad to hear you're enjoying it, I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow!
wink.gif
Hopefully the stores will have it in...

Not sure if I agree with you on Mario Kart but whatever. Your opinion etc...
smile.gif

I'm looking forward to that game just for the sheer fun and craziness of the races, and to kick some temp'ers asses!

(Though I am very disapointed with what Nintendo pulled off on the online play front. They always seem to get our expectations right up but then bring them back right back down again by just not doing things properly! Hopefully (though I've said this many a time before) they learn from their mistakes!)

I'm just playing with these guys, over exagerating Mario Karts play mechanics to make a point... (How would they act if I said GTA LCS is the handheld game of the year??
ohmy.gif
)

But yeah, Sonic Rush's great so far, it might take a little bit to get used to looking up then down at the screens at top speed, but it's a blast...

Plus it's not piss easy, the first boss will kill you flat out if you don't pay attention and react quickly...
biggrin.gif

Haven't used Blaze yet, but I do hope Super Sonic shows up in the game for more then a level...

Ok guys i manage to rip sonic rush to bring to 32mb and been able to flash it to my f2a 256mbit. Games boot fine (patched it with ndspatch and using flashme). I ripped multi language files plus the most of the music (SND folder) ,using ndstool and the same procedure as describe on another post in the nds forum for the Jump Super Star rom. Havent be able to test the saving if works yet but ill do it asap. Let me know if anyone wants to know......I have to Rush now
wink.gif

Ok tested saving and game seems to save fine on Metroid Demo. Going to resume playing.

Im thinking of making another rip with sounds for the rest of the levels. This will be in the end like a full-Rip with only thing missing menu and cutsencenes sound-music (but there are subs). Have fun.....Where the f*ck are G6 and mk2/3??????
Can u plz send me a link of your ripped version? Because mine doesnt get past the intro screen

QUOTE said:
Dear Sega,
I hate to tell you but I downloaded the rom version of Sonic Rush today and it is by far the best Sonic you have put out yet. I know you must wonder why I am telling you this or think I owe you some cash for the rom but lets face it, I bought Sonic Advance 1, 2, and 3, and Sonic Battle, ....I think I'll keep this to handhelds and not include the console disapointments but Sonic Advance 3 was good, way I see it you owe me a total of three games for the crap you had me buy. With Sonic Rush you now owe me 2 games. Keep up the good work! (PS I'll take any good Sega games for credit on what you owe me, Vector man? Toe Jam and Earl? Dunno. Anyway Thanks much.

Great game, really terrific beat 3 levels and looked at one level with Blaze which looks like a Casino level. Not sure if I like Blazes animations but the game is solid, good music, plenty of enemies which Sonic Advances really lacked, new moves, I think they are new, and really fun! Cant figure out how to get to the secret worlds though.....doing a Sonic Rush on the circle things makes rainbow circles but I can't get in em...hmmm, yea and the transistion to double screen is easy, took about 3 minutes to get used to. Good job Sonic!

I dunno. I thought Sonic Advance 3 was terrible. Too cramped, and it was really ugly, visually. Level designs were annoying as hell, too - too many "HERE'S AN OBSTACLE YOU HAVE LESS THAN HALF A SECOND TO REACT OOPS YOU GOT HIT!" moments.

Sonic Advance 2 was great. Some people say all you did was hold right, but that's because that's all they did.
tongue.gif
Advance 2 had more than one way to traverse a level, and it was up to you wether or not you wanted to just run through nonstop or stick around and enjoy the scenery.

Hopefully I'll get a DS soon.

Sonic 1 looked like shit
Sonic 2 looked great but all I did was hold right
Sonic 3 I held right and got hit by the very occasional bad guy

I think it broke down like this:
Sonic 1 had 1 bad guys per level
Sonic 2 had 2 bad guys per level
Sonic 3 had 3 bad guys per level

WeaponX- to get to the special stages you have to have atleast a 1 bar charged Trick meter, and then you need to find the round zip wheel in a stage, jump at it and hold X/Y until the portal opens, it'll suck Sonic in and away you go...

The special stages are controlled with the Stylus, which is a nice touch considering the main part of the game seems devoid of stylus use so far...

So far they seem real easy though...

Even though the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis both had that same piece inside, Sega just named theirs something. It's true!
But doesn't the Genesis use a Motorolla 68k and a Yamaha Z80, while the SNES uses a custom Nintendo chip?

I agree, SA2 was the best of the Advance series. And the best Sonic games were about the exploration. Sure you could run on through, but then you'd miss a lot of the game, and it was generally that curiousity that would kill you

.

Sonic CD still owns all.
