No, it doesn't work.

The filesize went down by at least 200MB and just goes to a whitescreen and that's it before the game even starts. No logos or nothing.

Isn't there an AR code hack to get the piracy off, like every other game? >_>

And why would we want a patch if there's ALREDY A PATCH FOR IT?

This patch here is faulty and not entirely reliable.

However, the usual AR-Code patch that I've seen be done for almost every other Anti-Piracy game, like with Phantasy Star Zero, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest 5 and such, is much easier to do and much more reliable.

this patch trim the rom down? then is no good
the patch that i am using doesn't trim the rom
if you don't trust the patch just get the fixed game uploaded by the dumpers

try waiting for the black window to close on its own.

Tried to reply and realised, even though I've been using GBAtemp for years as a resource I've never actually registered. But I decided to for this thread. Anyway, on to my point. Just patched this for my little brother and it still crashed after the customisation screen. This is probably to do with the fact that he has an awful MARS card though.
Also, it patched completely fine, no trimming of the rom or anything, it's as CrimsonRose says, just wait for the black screen to close itself, takes up to around a minute.
