Gaming Dragon Quest IX, help me please!

Okay basically my sister stopped playing Dragon Quest IX so now I want to play it. Problem is I have no idea how to delete her save file and restart, can anybody help me?

It gives you the option at the title screen. (Delete Adventure Log).

Also out of consideration, back up her save file first if you can.

Thankyou very much, she had quick saved the file so I didn't have the option to delete it, now I can. Her file is backuped
