ROM Hack DQM

Hello. This is a simple hack I want to do for Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker.
I want to change the text box from USA version to JP version. The text box is the one that shows when you talk with someone.
I already have unpacked both roms but I don't have a clue wich file or files I have to change.
If someone could help me I'd be happy. Thanks.

What do you mean you want to change the text box? as in the viewing style - US (left to right horizontal) to JP (right to left vertical)? that's not a simple hack lol. you'll need an experienced programmer for that.

Oh no, it's not like that xD. Sorry, I'll explain better.

I want to make the text box like the JP version, without those white lines, though now that I noticed them better they look the same

Hm... so, is there a way to edit the text box and remove those lines?

Well I think it involves changing some palette files, but I'm gonna leave this for someone with experience to handle. Good luck =o
