Gaming DQIX

I'm seriously looking forward to 9. It brings back a ton of elements from Dragon Quest 3, which is my favorite game of the series.

Unfortunately I never played the earlier DQs. I only came into the series at VIII but I fell in love. I've been playing the awesome DS remakes and going back to play the other older ones as well

I can't wait for IX

played the japan version for about 3 hours, and all I can say, that DQ9 is fantastic oldschool japan RPG.
I was feeling like playing old snes/psx rpg, even If I could understand anything.

Looking very forward to it, 3 millions japaneses can't be wrong!

It might be a little off topic, but is there any news of the game leaking? I'm hoping that it would leak before the 3rd, so I could get it before going abroad.

I liked the japanese version, it's the best DQ so far IMO.

i can't wait, this will be the first game i'm actually going to buy for the DS. But it sucks that it comes out a whole 2 weeks later in germany than in the U.S. Kind of diminishes the excitement for me.

I beat the whole Japanese version by following the video walkthrough on youtube.
I also used infinite SP.

Not the discussion, but yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to the game. Aside from the release of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, there hasn't been another game since 2006 I've been anticipating more than DQIX.

But sure, I love to poke fun at people's short attention spans. It makes the wait more bearable.
