Gaming DQIX Setups?

What are the best set-ups in dragon quest IX?
I have at the moment : Level 17 Minstrel (me), Level 11 Mage, Level 10 priest, level 13 martial artist.
Are there any other good set ups that i can use?

My current set up is my Minstrel at level 13, My theif at level 11 and my priest at level 11 and my warrior at level 11. Its a pretty good setup IMO. They all hit pretty hard, and the priest can hit hard if he needs to, but mostly he's for healing.

Hmmm, I got further into the game and I changed my profession to warrior but it rests you to 1 so, i'm a level 9 warrior, level 17 martial artist, level 14 priestess, and a level 8 martial artist

Make sure one of your characters maxes shields and change it to Paladin the moment you have a chance. It is incredibly useful during the main story. Sort of loses that in post-game though.

Hey toilet, At which point in the game do you get to change professions for your main chracter, and does it cost any money, and can you do it whenever you want? :3

It costs nothing to change it, you gotta beat the curse at coffinwell, then you unlock a new questish thing, so you can unlock the vocation changing guy

And yes, you can do it whenever you want.
