Misc DQIX : Multiplayer ?

Just wanted to know if someone actually tried the multiplayer mode in DQIX and can give me some informations like how it's working, what's different between solo mode and multiplayer, is it the main quest but with some different things or some treasaure hunt, etc...

Why is this on the wifi area considering this game doesn't have wifi multiplayer... ?
