lol the english version is not even confirmed yet so... and even so i live in europe so first comes US version and than EUR so i have to wait something like a year or 2... crap

So mayby someone will be cool enought to translate this stuff because this game is so f great that i can't wait till the US or EUR version realese.

PLEASE HELP ME and others in need!

then why are u even playing the jp version anyway, and yes IT is confirmed just like the other DQ games on the DS, this WILL get an localisation, SE isn't that dumb nor are they that inconsistant. U probably will just have to wait for a couple more months....

anyway what is wrong with the US version anyway? u want english so there it is... so ur surprize and their surprise are different, so what? Seriously... just wait for the US version if u really can't handle this jp version...

Thanks for all your support everyone! Seeing as how this thread has gotten lots of positive feedback, I do intend to finish the game and write all up the English plot summaries. I've been getting PMs lately asking me if I'm going to complete this, so don't worry, I won't abandon this thread

Right now I'm just up to the Sealed Shrine, but I was filling out school applications these past couple of days so I didn't had a chance to pick up my DS yesterday or today. But tomorrow I'll pick up where I left off and update the first post with some new stuff. Thanks for your patience!

Geez ok than if it's confirmed than what is the release date? I check out IGN.com and the note said ''unknown''.

Ok the US version is also good but it will take some time to release it. You kwo why? Because the Japanese market is not saturated yet... mayby when sells will reach 5-6 million than mayby thay release the US ver.

And it's not that i ''can't handle japanese version'' the plot is preety simple and all you have to do to progres is to gain some exp, fight monsters, defeat boss. But i want to know what they are tolkin' bout. And why shoul i wait to know that next 8-12 months?

then just wait, he is taking his time to write out the story, and plus we all know that there will be an english version for DQ IX, the only question would be when.

well, for now, u just have to either wait and stop playing or just carry on and come back later once he has updated his post.

You have my support. Besides even if localization does happen it would take months or nearly a year for the game to come out. Some people just can't wait since it's one of the big titles of video games out there.

This flowchart isn't mine so I can't take any credit for it. I had originally set out to make one, but I abandoned it because Kouli has already finished it.

I'm just filling in the actual plot to explain what's going on in the story. Think of Kouli's flowchart as the "skeleton" and my translation of the plot as "fleshing it out."

I'm going off to play the game for a little while (for the first time in a couple of days), then I should have at least the Sealed Shrine synopsis up in a couple of hours.

Well, then those people should LEARN to wait. Or be happy with what they got, but askinf for more more more is just ... well, pretty unfriendly. However I think it's great when there's someone like Densetsu3000 who offers others that

Well I think we know how to wait for the game's localization but its just we want to play it a great game, just like other people want to get iphones or a quad core pc or a next gen console as soon as they can or a favorite food when they see it.

Anybody knows what happen to Densetsu3000? He is not present for so long... i can't wait to see his new translation.

Thanks so much for your progress so far! I've just gotten to the last part covered, and I hope the posts continue! This has really been a big help!
