Decrypt9 loads and exits back to HBL ? Also it doesn't load on boot holding L+R after installing arm9loaderhax & AuReiNAND. Any ideas?

If you're launching Decrypt9 from a9lh then it shouldn't be possible to exit back to HBL. It sounds like you're launching AuReiNand from HBL and then trying to boot Decryp9 with L+R, and that's not the real goal behind that. You need to hold L+R when the 3DS actually boots.

Booting up L+R stopped working. So I went to HBL and tried Decrypt9 that way, and it tries to load up and closes back to HBL. :/ not sure what causes that

You're trying to boot it on >9.0 FIRM. You need to launch it with 9.0 FIRM if you're running it from HBL.

As for it not booting with L+R, do you still have Decrypt9.bin renamed to "arm9payload.bin" in the /rei folder?

I figured it out. I was pressing L+R after the power, having them pressed before turning it on worked. It wasn't working before because it was already booting to Reinand. Thanks for your help! :yay:

on 4.5, i will need to use a different mset rop (the decrypt9's .nds file) - gw's won't work?
any chance of supporting gw's mset also? :)

anyway, thanks!

Correct on the first part, it needs its own mset rop .nds thingy. gw's won't work I'm pretty sure. (haven't touched mset stuff in ages)
no idea on the 2nd part as it uses CakesROP for the mset installer.

i mean it is possible to use gw's rop thing so that we don't need to run a different nds file - other homebrews have done it.
anyway, i'm just doing it the browser way now like liomajor said :) it loaded fine

Just for clarity (tried to search) the H&S dump and inject will not work on current firmware versions correct? (10.6/10.7) keyed or not?

Not sure about 10.7 but I was able to dump it on 10.6. I didn't inject as I was just making sure I made the key files right.

Yeah, I just figured it was a no-go since it would blow out errors injecting even with the keys lol, so far the only problem free way seems to be via 9.2 or lower.

H&S 10.7 dump and inject works.
Seriously? I had no luck and did the keys using a hex editor. I'm on a 10.7 sysNand using Decrypt9 via payload boot under A9LH. I got the keys from "the google doc" so that sucks. It's the last thing I have tried to get stable since right now I have to inject under 9.2 then update, it would be a heck of a lot easier being able to dump h&s and inject on 10.7.

Do you have the newest version of decrypt9?

I compiled the most recent changes, but technically it's not a release build I guess. I've been able to backup and restore nand bins fine and passed the self test, which is weird.
Maybe try the release build. It's worth a shot. What keys do you have?
