Hacking Downgrading via hardware NAND flash

Hello everybody, i have a 9.4 firmware on my 3DS and i also have a backup of my NAND of the 4.2 firmware. Is it possibile to flash via hardware the old NAND in order to downgrade my 3ds? (Using the SDcard adaptor connected directly to the motherboard). I know the method, i just wanna to know if is it possibile or not. Thanks

Yes. It's possible. But it's a little bit tricky to make hardware mod on ordinary 3ds (not XL).
