Hacking Downgrade CFW

Hello.

I Want to update my Emunand CFW to Firmware 7.01 but sadly id didnt know that Big N roll out the Firmware 8.0 so i did sadly update the Emunand to 8.0. Is there any Possibility to downgrade it to 7.x or lower ? The OFW still is on 6.0 and SX-OS is on 6.53. I dont want to delete the CFW because much Game Saves and Games are on it.

Get 7.0.1 FW files and downgrade via choidujourNX. Just make sure to format/initialize the console (from choidujourNX) and disable autoRCM in choidujourNX, otherwise you might "brick" your EmuNAND.

Right. Totally forgot that you can't boot CFW on 8.0.0 xd
Well, then either wait or remake it.

Did you update your emunand through wifi directly from Nintendo? You should never do that. Always download the files for the firmware you want to update to and use ChoidujourNX to update.

Unfortunately I'm not sure you have any options to fix it right now. You'll have to wait until SX OS releases an update that supports 8.0.

Updating emunand with Nintendo servers? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of emunand?
Should keep your emuNAND always offline, and rely on Choi for FW updates.

Yeah ive understand some things wrong - thought that i must update firmwareupdate through the Big N servers.

For now, lets just wait for Amosphere to update support for 8.0 and then we can use ChiodojuorNX to downgrade to 7.0.1
