Hacking downgrade and 3ds?

Hello I'm confused because in GameStop all the have are the nes limited edition systems and I want to buy one can I downgrade it to 4.5 if it comes with anything higher on it?

As long as it's 9.2 or less, you can downgrade

my NES came on lower firmware so you should be fine. not too many people have been buying them so they are overstocked

I was shocked when I asked the employee about a new old style 3ds he looked at me funny, guess he doesn't know the gateway/cfw advantage...hopefully there is still one there when I get paid but no worries. Thank you for the Info
