Hi. I actually just swapped XboxOne to switch yesterday, and it was updated to 6.2.0. So i guess it does not have any backup or whatsoever.
I have gone through some of the threads here, and even in my area, some people still advertise that they can jailbreak 6.2.0 but cannot play backup game. What does it mean?

Is there any easy/hard way to downgrade to CFW from 6.2.0(i saw somewhere here that it can be done using ChoiDojour)?
I have no NAND backup, and I wouldn't mind risking losing save game data.

Thank you guys.

Hi. I actually just swapped XboxOne to switch yesterday...

You do realize you just got screwed right?? LOL.

Whoever you swapped your XBOX One to likely accidently or (neglectfully) intentionally upgraded their Switch to 6.2.0 in the last few days (it JUST came out so they did just do this in the last day or two) and realized they had messed up any chance of running CFW or backups for a while and suckered you into trading for it. I'd ask for your XBOX back if you planned on hacking that Switch at all because you can't... at least until they can get CFW running on 6.2.0.

I'm also willing to bet that person also 'forgot' to mention they likely got the console banned from online too so you can't even play paid games online or use the eShop to download/buy new ones.

Anywhere you "read" that people can run any kind of CFW, homebrew or backup on 6.2.0 is wrong or lying until the new key system is broken.

is it possible if I have my biskey but not rarnand? I only have that and my boot files.

Apparently it's possible to rebuild a new NAND as long as you have those BIS keys (and I'm sure the original boot files will help too). Exactly how is another story but at least it seems not all hope is lost for you yet.

Okey, I have nand backup and keys, I have restored NAND to console, but there is an error "unknown package". I think I need boot1\2 dump to be restored too

I also did not know the CFW will break on 6.2.0 before buying
But the console is not banned though. Still virgin... So i guess i need to spend some dollars then...

I'm not gonna make a new topic for my question, so I post it here :
I'm in 6.1 but I want to update to 6.2 because I want to go to the eshop and stuff but I want to be able to downgrade eventually to 6.1. What I need to do ? Backup my nand and update via choixdujour and that's it ? PS : I use SX OS
Thanks

I guess they mean that you can run Linux/Lakka on 6.2.

You can still downgrade.

Bear in mind that when you downgrade with fuses already burnt, you'll need to use RCM every time to boot the Switch.

You cannot downgrade without a NAND backup or BIS keys.
BIS keys, keyset containing desired master key (5), firmware NCA files.

Oh and memloader, hacdiskmount, choidujour and hactool.

That's it.

Advisable to make a NAND backup before surgery though.

Ah, I see what's going on. I said you cannot downgrade without a NAND backup OR bis keys. I meant you only need one or the other.

guys need help downgrading to 6.1.0 from 6.2.0, but having problems and stuck on this point.. any help would be appreciated.. using :
https://guide.sdsetup.com/#/manual620downgrade
on :
Step 4: Converting Firmware Files
where it says this: In the command prompt, type "ChoiDujour.exe --keyset=keys.txt fw" without quotes
problems with : ChoiDujour.exe
dont work for me trying this, in the pic(s) below...

also second problem is below as with this:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-get-switch-keys-for-hactool-xci-decrypting.506978/
#4 - Dumping Keys
  1. python keys.py SBK_Here_From_Biskeydump TSEC_Here_From_Biskeydump
  2. It should say: "Now you can do hactool --keyset=keys.txt to use them!", if it does, and there's no warning messages, you're good to go! :O
  3. but here's also it gives me problems trying this...
