I also have a PSP and a DS. I personally believe the DS is loaded with fun and interesting games, while the PSP has the occasional gem here and there. Tekken: Dark Ressurection is damn fun, but I rarely play my PSP anymore. Even though I can run emulators and homebrew on it, it just doesn't really catch my attention that much anymore. The DS on the other hand is a great system with many interesting and fun games and after you buy a flashcard you can even get homebrew and emulators on your DS. That just cut my PSP's use by more than half.

Get a DS. You won't regret it (after you get a flashcard that is). If you do regret it, NO HANDHELD FOR YOU.

You started this thread because you want a DS Lite, you know you do, if you didn't want one, you wouldn't have bother even joining this forum, so just go for it. And you know you'll only get positive comments here, it is a Nintendo fanboy forum. You want to be convinced to buy a DS Lite, and you want one. So go ahead and spend the small amount of money on it.

You're right, but do you think they're going to release a new one soon?

P.S.: Apart from the games, i just think that NDS Lite is the most sexiest handheld that I've ever seen

Though I agree, I doubt it's a good reason to buy a DS.

Should you buy one? Who's to say, really, aside from you? But it has, in my opinion, a lot of great games and a lot of promising games on the way.

That said, the PSP seems like a great system as well, though I don't own one. Perhaps if I had the greenbacks at the time to afford one, I'd be telling you about all the greatness that is PSP. But the DS was a perfect match for me and my budget at the time. I'm more than happy with it. I might sometimes forget to bring my cell phone with me when I go out, but I never, never forget my DS.

They don't have different DSL versions... He prob seen a magenta screen(slightly more pink then purple) and thought it was an old DS v5 when the screen is actually purple which as any DSL means it is of course a DSL
