So some retail games won't boot in my new DSLite that worked perfectly yesterday.

Al Pokémon games and flashcards give me 2 white screens after selecting the game from tha main menu.

Digimon and nintendogs (retail games) work perfectly.

How can I fix this double screen of white death that suddenly popped up out of nowhere :S

Like I said RETAIL game => NOT FLASHCARD

And no blowing doesn't help.

Read the whole post, some retail games do this like all pokémon games for example

If they weren't touching they wouldn't show up on the screen right? if the DS is new try to return it.

But It's Belgium, I used to live there and people are difficult when it comes to returns

Tested the retail games on an other ds lite => work perfectly :S

Now it's not my DS we are talking about but my sisters. But see seems to have lost the ticket to be able to return it...

So is there really no way to fix this????

Seems to be happening with all the pokémon games. You know where there are first 2 white screens but then it moves on, here it doesn't

you could try a piece of card behind the flash cart in the slot i think people do that to iv never had to yet. people sometimes use a piece of selotape around the game card aswell but dont put to much selotape on it might get stuck.

does the ds even recognise the games. like on the touch screen does the cartridge name come on

Read the top post:

QUOTEAl Pokémon games and flashcards give me 2 white screens after selecting the game from tha main menu.

They can be selected, the white screen happens when the DS tries to load the game.
