Hacking Doom 1.2 patch

Hello. I have doom 1.0 and I want to install update because of graphic improvement. I have installed 1.0 first and then 1.2 patch. at last stage of instaling 5 of 5 it gives me a error
Error Code: 2168-0002 and sometiing like kosmos bluescreen.
I have tried so many different ways like upgrading to 6.2 etc but nothing helps. I have sigpatches but I dont have any more ideas. Can somebody please help me to get it fixed?

Corrupted nsp? Filename too long or too complicated?
Exfat or fat32?

filename changed to doom, exfat, everything ok with nsp

I am using GoldLeaf 0.4

Are on 7.0.1 using ams 0.8.4 if so use Goldleaf 0.3 or Tinfoil 0.2.1 with fluffy and do it via USB install also the does the nsp file name have special characters if so rename the nsp.

i am on 6.2. when i tried to install it via usb is stuck on 5/5 as well but it frozen and I had to restart console

well. found the way. installed update first with error then game. works well for me

exfat,

Don't use exfat with homebrew, or you will end up with corruption. Use fat32.
