Hardware does this seem like a good steam machine build?

Oh, I didn't even realize you were planning a build using the Raven case. I planned one around that case a while back, try this: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TotalInsanity4/saved/bY3xFT

Edit: If you're doing serious gaming, you'll probably want to upgrade the CPU to a triple or quad core version

I'm sorry but, I'm a noob to building a pc... I have some education in pc's by my web design class that basically is more of an IT class than a web development class..
I think they were talking to the person they were quoting, not you. And anyway, if you have a 15.5 x 16.5 cubby you're rather limited with case size. Does it need to be there and not next to the stand? If so, you're probably gonna have to stick to mini-ITX.

Honestly, if you don't really have a lot of space, and won't be playing very intensive games, you could just do a micro atx build with a GTX 950.

I feel like a picture with the areas I want to place it would help solve things a bit...

I'm starting my build over again on pcbuilder and trying to find a build that looks good with this setup

For the case, check out the cooler master elite 110. It's cubical and might just fit in that small space on your cabinet

would it run: TES: V skyrim, Garry's mod, Assassains creed, GTA V, CSGO, Street fighter V, Tom Clancy's The division with good fps... I like visuals but mostly, I'm not going 4k or anything and I mostly care about good fps...

good fps as in 45-60 fps

I just want to run most games with good fps and at least hd visuals... its not like I'm running freaken crysis 1 on it anytime soon...

Those older games will be fine, but for GTA V, The Division and anything comparable you'll want a better CPU and GPU.
Though GTA V runs at mostly 60fps on my 960, but you won't max out the settings (mix of high and medium). For the division, you probably won't be able to keep a smooth framerate even on low with a 960.

I decided on doing TotalInsanity4's build with some adjustments of my own... is the light led a strip or a bar on the raven case? I hate the orange color on the boot light... @TotalInsanity4

Again, I suggest you change your processor from the Athlon to at least a Pentium G3258.
does it support direct 12 along with future games that will use it?

which is better amd or intel??? Idk...
The question isn't "Is AMD or Intel better?" The question you should be asking is "Is this AMD cpu better than this Intel CPU?" To answer that question, type "(Insert AMD CPU name here) vs (Insert Intel CPU name here)" into Google.
